INTRODUCING 1789

Formed in the spring of 2022, 1789 was created with the intention of bringing real country music back to North Carolina. What began as a Honky Tonk idea eventually transformed into an original outlaw country music group with sights set on rejuvenating the local country music scene. 1789 is made up of 4 guys, Brennan Shortridge (Vocals/Guitar), Evan Bennett (Lead Guitar), Josh Jefferys (Bass), and Adam Wester (Drums), who each have experience rooted in various genres with the common passion for making modern country music by paying homage to legends of the past.
